Employment Incentives

Throughout the Monadnock Region, employers of all kinds and sizes offer special incentives to prospective and existing employees, from bonuses for signing on or meeting established goals to reimbursement for continuing education. Here are some examples of how local employers are incentivizing people to build their careers here. NOTE: Incentives change frequently and tuition reimbursements have stipulations. Go to the employer’s website for the most up-to-date and complete incentive offerings.

Manufacturing

Companies in the Monadnock region are working to build a brighter future through more efficient and innovative manufacturing, sustainable construction, and supportive medical advancements. International leaders in research, engineering and technology have found a home here that is attractive to employees who value strong community bonds, pristine recreational opportunities and great dining and artistic establishments.

Incentives include but may not be limited to:

    • EIM’s education benefit reimburses employees one-half of the tuition costs each year; EIM is committed to employee development and promoting from within.
    • Flextime positions are available for employees with family commitments, and our Babies at Work program gives Parent-Label-Experts the freedom to design their own schedule and bring their newborns to work with them.
    • Benefits include 401k matched up to 3%, 50% matched up to 5%, paid holidays, extended paid sick leave, EAP, health insurance (EIM pays 75% of weekly premium, 50% of annual deductible), employee funded dental, 8 hours volunteer time, life and LTD insurance, PTO, monthly bonus, fitness reimbursement
    • Internet stipend for remote employees.

    • 100% tuition reimbursement for preapproved courses

Tuition reimbursement: Up to $10,000 annually for approved work-related courses

Other incentives:

    • $10,000 for either moving to the Jaffrey area to join MilliporeSigma OR a $10,000 signing bonus for locals for just joining.
    • 3 months temporary housing (only for those moving)

Incentives include but may not be limited to:

Tuition reimbursement: 

  • All full-time regular employees who have completed 6 months of employment are eligible to participate.
  • The Company reimburses 85% of the costs associated with tuition, fees, and books
  • Max for online education is $3,000 per year and $5,000 for attending a class at a local college or university

Other incentives:

  • Nanotech offers comprehensive medical & dental insurance, 401(k) retirement plan, company paid life insurance and paid vacation time 

Incentives include but may not be limited to:

    • Employees are encouraged to continually expand their knowledge through the pursuit of life-long learning and education and NHBB offers financial assistance to those who do. NHBB’s tuition reimbursement program helps you cover the cost of books, tuition, and other eligible expenses related to preapproved courses (subject to IRS annual cap)
    • Medical, vision, and dental insurance is provided. 401K plans include contributions from NHBB.
    • NHBB provides many supportive programs and activities to help employees maintain and improve their overall physical and mental wellness.

Healthcare

Our healthcare sector is one of the Monadnock Region’s major employers, encompassing numerous professionals who provide direct care and support services. Many healthcare organizations offer hiring bonuses for in-demand jobs, and encourage employees to grow in their roles via financial support for education.

Incentives include but may not be limited to:

    • Full-time employees who have been employed at MCH for at least 30 days can receive up to $4000 per year for tuition.  Award amount is prorated for part-time employees.
    • Employees can apply for a Peter L. Gosline Employee Education Scholarship every year (application window runs from June 1 to July 1) – Full-time and part-time employees who have been employed at MCH for at least 12 months are welcome to apply for this scholarship.  Award size will vary and is at the discretion of the Selection Committee.
    • MCH Employees can receive funding assistance for the costs of education, certification, and/or pre-requisites from the Rural Health Careers Grant which can be combined with tuition assistance coming from MCH (scholarship award amounts vary). 

Incentives include but may not be limited to:

    • Montshire does on the job training for dental assistants & pays for certifications for dental assistants, including: x-ray, coronal polishing, sealants, etc. Montshire also provides tuition reimbursement for dental hygienists. Dental hygienist loan reimbursement is $40,000.
    • Benefits include PTO, 401k, 401k contribution, health insurance/vision/dental, and professional development assistance.
