Fall is positively magical in the Monadnock Region of New Hampshire. The leaves are vibrant, the harvests are coming in, and the air is crisp but still warm enough throughout the season to take full advantage of everything our hills, mountains—Mount Monadnock in particular—and waterways have to offer. Speaking of waterways, take a covered bridge tour! Or explore one of the many outdoor land and water activities the region has to offer. It’s all within thriving distance.
As gorgeous as nature in fall is here (thanks, trees!) much of what makes autumn special in our neck of the woods is down to the people here, and how they fill the days and nights with art, music, and special events, pulling out the stops to celebrate before we hunker down for winter…and start polishing the skis.
While you’re here, check out the region’s unique specialty shops and artist galleries. And if you are looking for a great place to kick back and grab a bite before a night on the town, stop by one of our many local breweries in the area.
You don’t have to drive far to discover something worth doing in every corner of the Monadnock Region this season.
