OUTDOOR ACTIVITIES

A Short Drive to Snow Angels and Ski Trails

Winter in the Monadnock Region of New Hampshire is the stuff picture postcards are made of. The air is crisp, and snow falls plentifully across our valleys and mountains, creating magical views and endless outdoor fun. Spend your days skiing, snowshoeing, sledding, ice-skating… And when you’re done playing for the day, relax in front of a cozy fire, or head out on the town for a great meal, live music and more. It’s all within thriving distance, right here in NH’s Monadnock Region.

LOCAL CULTURE

Cold weather, warm vibes

The Monadnock Region arts scene heats up in the winter months. Galleries abound with local art, while stages provide music and theater to warm your spirit, and fireplaces at inns, pubs, distilleries, and eateries are filled with light and warmth. And when you’re holiday shopping, don’t forget to check out our Monadnock Merch!

A WINTER VISIT

Last winter, Instagram influencers Chris and Pamela Daniele (@DirtandGlass and @heypamcakes) visited the Monadnock Region. See where they stayed, shopped, and spent their time before you plan your own trip to spend time with us this winter.
